Singapore— June 8, 2017 — Lithan Academy, a Skillsfuture Singapore (SSG)-recognised Continuing Education and Training (CET) centre and Edutrust-certified Private Education Institution has signed an Memorandum of Understanding with China-based Chong Qing Zu Xia (CQZX) Software Institute and Chong Qing Digital Infocomm Technology Pte Ltd to develop globalized digital talents and to strengthen international ties between China and Singapore in line with China’s national frameworks, “一带一路” and “大众创业，万众创新”.
This collaboration involves the sharing of Lithan’s curriculum across the following areas:
- BTEC HNC and HND (with pathway towards a degree from Victoria University Australia)
- Express ERP Consultant (SAP) (with pathway towards a masters degree in ERP from Victoria University Australia)
- Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation (Lithan’s PMET Startup Accelerator)
Both parties have also agreed to be strategic partners with the common goal of developing international talents through exchange programmes.
The new overseas programme, which will be launched in CQZX, spans 12 months and includes a further education exchange component where learners at CQZX can pursue a further BTEC certificate at Lithan Academy after graduation.
The programme will also provide a pathway for learners in China to attain a degree from Victoria University Australia through Lithan’s existing partnership with the University.
